Disney and ABC Television Group is a sponsor of the annual NHMC Latino Television Writers Program. During the five-week, Los Angeles-based, intensive program which takes place in November and December, participants have the opportunity to develop at least one television spec script under the guidance of an entertainment industry professional. Those writers accepted into the program will have the opportunity to build relationships with broadcast network executives. LALIFF is scheduled for August 19-25, 2010 at the Chinese 6 Mann Cinemas in Hollywood. Last year, LALIFF drew an attendance in excess of 15,000 over the course of its 6 day run. In 2010, the film festival will include a full line-up of international award-winning features, short films, panels, workshops, musical performances and networking events.

IMPROV SCHOLARSHIP
NBC Universal and The PIT will offer two full-ride scholarships to students with strong performance skills to study the craft of improvisation at The PIT. NBC Universal and The PIT will each sponsor one student for the entire year-long program, from Level 1 through Level 5. Each level is 8 weeks long and is offered several times per week.
